Internet Goes on Strike & Fights Against SOPA & PIPA?

On Wednesday, some of the Internet's largest entities blacked out their websites or their logos or some of their content in a protest against the SOPA and PIPA anti-piracy bills making their way through Congress.

If you're wondering whether all of this had an effect, the answer is yes. Big time.

Wikipedia,...

  • the largest Web player to block access to its pages for a full 24 hours.
  • Reports that a whopping 162 million people experienced the blackout on the online encyclopedia's landing page.
  • In addition, 8 million U.S. readers took Wikipedia's suggestion and looked up their congressional reps from the site.

Google reported Wednesday that...

  • As of 1:30 PM PST, 4.5 million people had signed its petition asking lawmakers to reject the SOPA in the House and the PIPA in the Senate.

Twitter said...

  • 2.4 million SOPA related tweets were sent in the first 16 hours of the day Wednesday.
  • The top five terms were SOPA, Stop SOPA, PIPA, Tell Congress, #factswithoutwikipedia.

WordPress reports that...

  • At least 25,000 WordPress blogs had joined the SOPA and PIPA protest by blacking out their blogs entirely
  • An additional 12,500 had posted a "Stop Censorship" ribbon.

Below Internet Leads showed their protest against SOPA and PIPA..

Who is SONIA GANDHI? ( Every Indian Should Know This )

Who is Sonia Gandhi:
There is officially no Sonia Gandhi. Her real name in passport is neither Gandhi nor Sonia. Its Edvige Antonia Albina Maino. Sonia is a Russian name and not italian. However, Antonia is an italian name and her passport is italian. Though she has married Rajiv Gandhi* she never accepted change of title officially. ( recall the time of turmoil in indian politics when Sonia Gandhi was trying to be the prime minister, but ultimately ManMohan Singh became her toy)

*Rajiv Gandhi:
Actually Rajiv Khan being the son of Firoz Khan and Indira Priyadarshani. Gandhi is an assumed title to sentimentally lure indians for their political benefit. They are muslims by religion.

Father:
Stefano Eugene Maino is socially the father of Sonia. Her father was a German(hitlers army). When Hitlers army went to russia they were captured and imprisoned. He was captured near St. Petersburgh and was imprisoned for 20 years. But he became a member of KGB and his imprisonment was limited to 4 years. When he came back from prison he gave russian name to his daughters. Social father because when she was born her father was in jail for 4 years. Biological father is unconfirmed.

Mother:
Paula Maino

Family:
She had 2 sistersin Orbassano, italy

Birthplace:
Sonia claims she was born in Besano, near Turin in italy. However, as per her birth certificate, She is actually born is Luciana, in the borders of Switzerland. A resort town for German soldiers during war.

Education:
She initially put forward to Indian Govt. that she studied in Cambridge University which proved to be fake. She submitted an affidavit that she studied english in Bell Education trust at Cambridge. Even this was proven to be fake and was found she never got any education after class five. She was a young girl with no formal education living five years in england. How did she support her livelihood for 5 years? Any wild guesses?

Citizenship:
She has not given off her italian citizenship. Indira Gandhi used her power to issue her an Indian Citizenship so that she can join Indian politics. She is holding an illegal citizenship in India. No action is being taken by Home Minister.

Religion:
Cristianity

Bank Balance:
Rajiv Gandhi and his family owned 2 billion USD in Swiss Bank as of November,1991. Benefitiary of death of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi was Sonia Gandhi.

Family:
Sonia's sister Alexandria(or Anuska) has 2 shops in Italy selling antiques stolen from India. Sonia used her power to smuggle indian artifacts through Air India flights uninspected.

Sonia's son Rahul Gandhi, whose real name is Raul Vinci. He got admitted to Harvard in quota but was thrown off soon because he was incompetant. He has italian citizenship since his mother never gave up her citizenship. He cannot officially become the citizen of india or any politician in india as long as he doesnt give up his italian citizenship. Arrested in Boston airport for carrying 160,000 dollars cash, accompanied by Veronique (spanish). veronique is the daughter of Drug mafia leader. Rahul has also been accused for gang raping Sukanya Devi, whose petition to all courts in India have been rejected due to their political hold and the whereabouts of the family is unknown. However, the information is widely available online.

**********Friends PLEASE DO SHARE this information with the people because only general awareness can cure this nation and the corrupt government will never reveal the truth ************

ATM Thief

ATM Thief
When a thief forced you to take money from the ATM, do not argue or resist, you might not know what he or she might do to you. What you should do is to punch your PIN in the reverse...

Eg: If your PIN is 1234, you punch 4321.

The moment you punch in the reverse, the money will come out, but will be stuck into the machine half way out and it will alert the police without the notice of the thief.

Every ATM has it; It is specially made to signify danger and help. Not everyone is aware of this. SHARE THIS TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS

Difference between Lokpal Bill and Jan Lokpal Bill

Difference between Lokpal Bill and Jan Lokpal Bill

Here are some of the points raised by Hazare’s group:

1. The government Bill provides for nothing to recover ill-gotten wealth. A corrupt politician or bureaucrat can come out of jail and enjoy the money. The Jan Lokpal Bill seeks to recover from the accused the loss caused to the government due to corruption. It also increases punishment for the corrupt from a minimum of six months and a maximum of seven years to a minimum of five years and a maximum of life imprisonment.

2. The Jan Lokpal Bill seeks to empower the Lokpal to initiate probe suo motu and directly entertain public complaints. The government Bill requires complaints to be routed through the Speaker and the Rajya Sabha Chairperson.

3. The government Bill makes the Lokpal only an advisory body, vesting powers in the Prime Minister for action on its reports against cabinet ministers and in Parliament for action against the Prime Minister and MPs. The Jan Lokpal Bill gives the Lokpal powers to initiate prosecution after completing investigations. It also gives the Lokpal police powers to register FIRs, proceed with criminal investigations and launch prosecution.

4. It would be impossible for the Prime Minister to act against a cabinet minister on the basis of the Lokpal's report due to the compulsion of coalition politics. It gives the example of former telecom minister A Raja.

5. The Jan Lokpal Bill proposes merger of the Central Vigilance Commission with a part of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to create a single point of investigation in cases of corruption. The government Bill proposes to take away powers from the CBI to investigate politicians, thereby insulating them from investigations.

6. The government Bill gives power to the Lokpal to send to jail through summary trial anybody filing false and frivolous complaints, but it does not give the Lokpal power to send corrupt politicians to jail.

10 things to know about Anna Hazare

10 things to know about Anna Hazare 'n Jan Lok Pal Bill.. !

10 things to know about Anna Hazare
1. Who is Anna Hazare?

An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War

2. What's so special about him?

He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra

3. So what?

This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills.

In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village.

4. Ok,...?

This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities.

5. Really, what is he fighting for?

He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India.

6. How that can be possible?

He is advocating for a Bil, The Jan Lokpal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

8. It's an entirely new thing right..?

In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit thier theft (corruption).

7. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time?

The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed.

Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the JAN LOKPAL BILL. 50% goverment participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant trust the government entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them.

8. Fine, What will happen when this bill is passed?

A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case, that has been going for last 25 years without any result.

9. Is he alone? Who else is there in the fight with Anna Hazare?

Baba Ramdev, Ex. IPS Kiran Bedi, Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal and many more.

Prominent personalities like Aamir Khan is supporting his cause.

10. Ok, got it. What can I do?

At least we can spread the message. How?

Putting status message, links, video, changing profile pics.

At least we can support Anna Hazare and the cause for uprooting corruption from India.

At least we can hope that his Hunger Strike does not go in vain.

At least we can pray for his good health.

Please Spread This msg As Much As You Can 'n Tell Others To Do The Same.. !

123 x 8 + 3 = 987
1234 x 8 + 4 = 9876
12345 x 8 + 5 = 98765
123456 x 8 + 6 = 987654
1234567 x 8 + 7 = 9876543
12345678 x 8 + 8 = 98765432
123456789 x 8 + 9 = 987654321

1 x 9 + 2 = 11
12 x 9 + 3 = 111
123 x 9 + 4 = 1111
1234 x 9 + 5 = 11111
12345 x 9 + 6 = 111111
123456 x 9 + 7 = 1111111
1234567 x 9 + 8 = 11111111
12345678 x 9 + 9 = 111111111
123456789 x 9 +10= 1111111111

9 x 9 + 7 = 88
98 x 9 + 6 = 888
987 x 9 + 5 = 8888
9876 x 9 + 4 = 88888
98765 x 9 + 3 = 888888
987654 x 9 + 2 = 8888888
9876543 x 9 + 1 = 88888888
98765432 x 9 + 0 = 888888888

Brilliant, isn’t it?
And finally, take a look at this symmetry:

1 x 1 = 1
11 x 11 = 121
111 x 111 = 12321
1111 x 1111 = 1234321
11111 x 11111 = 123454321
111111 x 111111 = 12345654321
1111111 x 1111111 = 1234567654321
11111111 x 11111111 = 123456787654321

BEING IN TWENTIES - SOMETHING

It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are many things about yourself that you didn't know and may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones. What you don't recognize is that they are realizing that too, and aren't really cold, catty, mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you.

You look at your job... and it is not even close to what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you are looking for a job and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and that scares you.

Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and are constantly adding things to your list of what is acceptable and what isn't. One minute, you are insecure and then the next, secure.

You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and confused. Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try and cling on to the past with dear life, but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward.

You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you. Or you lie in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough that you want to get to know better. Or maybe you love someone but love someone else too and cannot figure out why you're doing this because you know that you aren't a bad person. One night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap. Getting wasted and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over, and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision. You worry about loans, money, the future and making a life for yourself... and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!

What you may not realize is that every one reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out. Send this to your twenty-something friends... maybe it will help someone feel like they aren't alone in their state of confusion...

We call it the "Quarter-life Crisis...”

Be happieeeee!!!! :)

Credit card users A MUST READ

We often tend to use debit/credit card for any type of purchase.. Crooks are getting smarter and smarter because it is easier than working for a living…

New way of STEALING...

ESPECIALLY LOOK AT SCENE THREE...

Be sure to read Scene 3.. Quite interesting.

This is a new one. People sure stay busy

Trying to cheat us, don't they?

SCENE 1.

A friend went to the local gym and placed his belongings in the locker. After the workout and a shower, he came out, saw the locker open, and thought to himself, 'Funny, I thought I locked the locker...

Hmm, 'He dressed and just flipped the wallet to make sure all was in order.

Everything looked okay - all cards were in place....

A few weeks later his credit card bill came - a whooping bill of 74,000!

He called the credit card company and started yelling at them, saying that he did not make the transactions.

Customer care personnel verified that there was no mistake in the system and asked if his card had been stolen.

'No,' he said, but then took out his wallet, pulled out the credit card, and yep - you guessed it - a switch had been made.

An expired similar credit card from the same bank was in the wallet.

The thief broke into his locker at the gym and switched cards.

Verdict: The credit card issuer said since he did not report the card missing earlier, he would have to pay the amount owed to them.

How much did he have to pay for items he did not buy?

Why were there no calls made to verify the amount swiped?

Small amounts rarely trigger a 'warning bell' with some credit card companies. It just so happens that all the small amounts added up to big one!

============================

SCENE 2.

A man at a local restaurant paid for his meal with his credit card.

The bill for the meal came, he signed it and the waitress folded the receipt and passed the credit card along.

Usually, he would just take it and place it in his wallet or pocket. Funny enough, though, he actually took a look at the card and, lo and behold, it was the expired card of another person.

He called the waitress and she looked perplexed. She took it back, apologized, and hurried back to the counter under the watchful eye of the man. All the waitress did while walking to the counter was wave the wrong expired card to the counter cashier, and the counter cashier immediately looked down and took out the real card.

No exchange of words --- nothing! She took it and came back to the man with an apology.

Verdict:

Make sure the credit cards in your wallet are yours..

Check the name on the card every time you sign for something and/or the card is taken away for even a short period of time.

Many people just take back the credit card without even looking at it, 'assuming' that it has to be theirs.

FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, DEVELOP THE HABIT OF CHECKING YOUR CREDIT CARD EACH TIME IT IS RETURNED TO YOU AFTER A TRANSACTION!

==========================

SCENE 3:

Yesterday I went into a pizza restaurant to pick up an order that I had called in.

I paid by using my Visa Check Card which, of course, is linked directly to my checking Account.

The young man behind the counter took my card, swiped it, then laid it on the counter as he waited for the approval, which is pretty standard procedure.

While he waited, he picked up his cell phone and started dialling.

I noticed the phone because it is the same model I have, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Then I heard a click that sounded like my phone sounds when I take a picture.

He then gave me back my card but kept the phone in his hand as if he was still pressing buttons.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking: I wonder what he is taking a picture of, oblivious to what was really going on.

It then dawned on me: the only thing there was my credit card, so now I'm paying close attention to what he is doing.

He set his phone on the counter, leaving it open.

About five seconds later, I heard the chime that tells you that the picture has been saved.

Now I'm standing there struggling with the fact that this boy just took a picture of my creditcard.

Yes, he played it off well, because had we not had the same kind of phone, I probably would never have known what happened.

Needless to say, I immediately cancelled that card as I was walking out of the pizza parlour.

All I am saying is, be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Whenever you are using your credit card take caution and don't be careless..

Notice who is standing near you and what they are doing when you use your card.

Be aware of phones, because many have a camera phone these days.

FORWARD THIS TO AS MANY PEOPLE

AS YOU CAN THINK OF. LET'S GET THE WORD OUT! JUST BE AWARE

Never let your card out of your sight.....check & check again!

Scary isn't it.....

Stay Alert.. Stay Safe…

Don't sit on your wallet!

DON'T SIT ON YOUR WALLET

DON'T SIT ON YOUR WALLET

Your wallet can be real pain for your back and the buttocks, and it can even lead to shooting pains down the legs. Sitting on a wallet for prolonged hours every day can compress sciatic nerve which passes beneath piriformis muscle and leads to piriformis syndrome, low back pain & self-inflicted sciatica.

The wallet acts as a wedge that forces the pelvis, spine and body out of alignment. Just as you would not sit on a brief case or a rock for an extended period of time, you should not sit on your wallet. Anyone who drives more than a half hour sitting on a wallet, is a candidate for sciatica or back pain.

The healthiest option is to move the wallet to your front pocket. If it's must to keep your wallet in your back pocket, you should remove it before you sit down.

-If its still creating problems, give it to me ill take care of your wallet... :-)

5 Ways to Free Yourself From Over commitment!!

5 Ways to Free Yourself From Over commitment!!

What is Over Committment?

To bind or obligate (oneself, for example) beyond the capacity for realization. How to prevent it? Here are some ways..

To prevent over committing, you have to learn to say “no”. For many, especially you ladies out there (you know who you are) saying “no” is akin to getting a root canal. It’s thoroughly unnatural and completely painful.

Here are five strategies and techniques to help you say “no” and free yourself from the stress of over commitment, once and for all.

1. Know your priorities.

Being clear about what is truly important to you is the first step to saying no. When you know what you want out of life, you’ll be more deliberate about how you spend your time. It will be easier to see when obligations, tasks and responsibilities fit into your ideal life plan, and when they don’t.

2. Know your bosses priorities.

OK you say, “But it’s not me. It’s my boss. He just keeps piling on the work. How can I tell my boss ‘no’ without getting fired or passed over for promotion?” Good question. Again, let’s get back to priorities. Do you know your bosses priorities? Do you know the priorities of your boss’ boss?

3. Say no for now.

If your boss plops a new project on your lap, look for ways to postpone starting the project – if your plate is already full. Try an approach like this: “That sounds like a great project. I can see the positive impact it would have on our organization. I’d love to start working on it in a month, after I have wrapped up projects X and Y. Are you agreeable with that?” You’ll show your boss your impeccable time management skills and how in sync you are with your organization’s goals. And he or she never had to hear the word “no” – how great is that?

4. Know how to say no.

Say things like “Thank you for the offer, but I’ll have to pass this time.” Or “Thank you, but that doesn’t fit in my schedule right now.” Having some pre-rehearsed, friendly ways of saying “no” will help you muster the courage to decline offers graciously when you want to and need to.

5. Approach no from a position of power.

Instead of saying “I can’t do this” say “this doesn’t fit my priorities right now.” When you say “I can’t” the words themselves feel powerless. By realizing something doesn’t fit your priorities and turning it down, you’re putting yourself in a position of power: the powers to make decisions that help you get what you want out of life.

Using these five techniques you will free yourself from the stress of too much to do and create time to do what you enjoy … like just hanging out with your family or playing ball in the front yard. Doesn’t that sound nice? Just say “no” and you can have it, too!

The Paradoxes of Servant Leadership

I love this poem, which describes the paradoxes of being a "Servant-Leader".

Strong enough to be weak

Successful enough to fail

Busy enough to make time

Wise enough to say "I don't know"

Serious enough to laugh

Rich enough to be poor

Right enough to say "I'm wrong"

Compassionate enough to discipline

Mature enough to be childlike

Important enough to be last

Planned enough to be spontaneous

Controlled enough to be flexible

Free enough to endure captivity

Knowledgeable enough to ask questions

Loving enough to be angry

Great enough to be anonymous

Responsible enough to play

Assured enough to be rejected

Victorious enough to lose

Industrious enough to relax

Leading enough to serve

Story Of The Week - Creative Thinking

This is a good mail on ATTITUDE & its importance... Check it out!!

An old man lived alone in a village.
He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work.

His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation:

Dear Son,

I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year.

I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time.

I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot.

If you were here, all my troubles would be over.

I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison.

Love,

Dad

Shortly the old man received this telegram:

"For Heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up the garden!! That's where I buried the GUNS!!"

At 4 a.m the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.

Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asked him what to do next.

His son's reply was:

"Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad.. It's the best I could do for you from here."

Moral:

"NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD,
IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART YOU CAN DO IT. IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS.. NOT WHERE YOU ARE OR WHERE THE PERSON IS"

I Salute The Real Heroes

79 years of the sacrifice three young men gave for the nation. Bhagat Singh- Raj Guru- Sukh Dev . Bhagat Singh, Sukh Dev and Raj Guru the three young men who were hanged on 23-March-1931 near Ferozpur near the present India-Pakistan border. These men never cared about religion and fought for the freedom of the nation. I salute the real heroes..

Bhagat Singh (September 27, 1907[2] – March 23, 1931) was an Indian freedom fighter, considered to be one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement. He is often referred to as Shaheed Bhagat Singh (the word shaheed means "martyr").

Sukhdev Thapar was an Indian freedom fighter who lived from 15 May 1907 to March 23, 1931. Sukhdev was a famous Indian revolutionary who played a major role in the India's struggle for Independence. He is amongst those great Indian freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of their country.

Shivaram Hari Rajguru (August 24, 1908 - March 23, 1931) was an Indian revolutionary from Maharashtra and belonged to the Deshastha Brahmin community. Rajguru was born in a place named Khed near Pune. It was later renamed as Rajgurunagar in his honor. He is best known as a colleague of Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev in the killing of a British police officer J.P. Saunders at Lahore in 1928 in order to take revenge for the death of veteran leader Lala Lajpat Rai due to excessive police beating. All three were convicted of the crime and hanged on March 23, 1931.

Interesting Love Story

I found this story in one blog through one of my friend ..very much touched and would like to share with you all..

*********************************************************************************

When i was young, there were times when. i would close my eyes, take a deep breathe and hold it...
wishing that everything around me would come to a standstill.Wishing I could change some things around me.
I could never hold my breath long enough!

7am-bath and breakfast,
7.30am-3pm _ college,
3.30 to 6.30 _ sleeping,
6.30 to 9.30 _ studying!,
9.30 - dinner,
11- sleeping!!

This was my daily routine before.... before i was introduced to some fascinating things called INTERNET and ONLINE CHATTING.

INTERNET- The place where I met her for the first time!
INTERNET- The thing which amazingly changed my routine time table to :-

12am - 12pm - 12am (24 hrs) __ Waiting for her message!

Well, let me give a clear picture. After meeting her online and chatting with her for a long time, i felt like sheš the one!
she has got to do something in my life atleast! May be sheš my lucky star.
May be she can do miracles in my life and all. But SHUT UP! sheš just an online friend and i have never met her before.
I dont even know everything about her properly! Sheš just a good online friend and thatš it!
But, If so, then why does she always come in my dreams? Why does she always make me smile for no reasons?
Is it a crush or an attraction or is it the most special 4 lettered word,- LOVE??
Come on! Stop misunderstanding and exaggerating a most common situation! Millions of people meet online daily.
Millions of people become friends online daily.
If all of em started to think like this, then a thousand people find their love every second!
Stop thinkin shit! Hmmm.. May be i should not think about her like that. After all i havent met her even once!
I haven't even seen her pic once! Only i have uploaded my pic and she has seen me.
She gave me her cell no. finally. :) So 'll be always chatting in mobile itself and stopped coming online.
I always used to inform her in the cell wherever i am going, coz who knows, I might meet her by a co incidence.!
I started expressing my feelings finally. Even though i had not seen her, i told that i love her!
Crazy! Like a hero, i told her that i 'll love her no matter how her physical appearance is, and i love her coz of her character and all.
And she accepted it! Oh, finally i have got my soulmate. If she chats so nicely, obviously she'll be good looking and
I'll enjoy my life to the core if she's with me!
But whenever i asked her to meet me, she used to give some reasons and all, and as a result we never met for some 8 months
or so. At that time, i had picturized her in my mind itself, and reached such an extent that I couldn't spend a single hour
without her messages! Stupid cellphones! They're the main reason for 70% of the teens to fall in love.
Suddenly one day, she told me that she is in my college and wanted to meet me! Wow! I started to get nervous.
What will I talk with her when we meet? Thank god there is a rose shop in front of our college.
I took a bouquet of flowers and started walking towards the parking lot, where she told she was waiting.
How come there were soo many good looking gals in our college suddenly? I saw hundreds of cute gals on my way suddenly!
Where were these gals till today? May be its a good sign. They were like angels directly from the heaven.
Finally I came to the parking lot. To meet the girl of my destiny? What will the destiny have for me in its bag?
I'll know about it in a few seconds. There she was. A gal sitting all alone in the parking lot. She has to be the one.
She had long hairs and wearing a salwar. Hmm.. well-cultured, i thought. I called her name. She turned around.....
God!! How could you do this to me?? She was completely opposite to whatever I had imagined.
No, this can't happen. I wanted a good lookin gal. I can't live my whole life with this gal, who was looking like a total stranger
to me. Was she really the one with whom i had shared all my feelings? Can't be.
Somewhere deep inside me, an alarm was ringing, telling me to behave nicely. But i ignored it! She gave me a smile,
for which i replied sarcastically. I asked her why she came there.
She started telling that finally she got a chance to meet the prince of her dreams and all.
But who listens to her anymore? I showed that bouquet and
said that someone has proposed me and gave me that bouquet and i accepted it, and i can't continue anything with her.
Told her that whatever had happened was meaningless since we never met and asked her to stay as a friend only
if she wants and left. May be there were a few drops of tears in her eyes.
But come on! Be realistic. Think practically. It was impossible to continue a relationship with her.
Some of those sitting angels were disappointed in me as i realized on my way back.
One among them was damn cute.Have I seen her somewhere before? seems like a deja vu! I gave a smile to her,
but she just gave a stare as if i am the villain of a good old hindi movie! So I became a single again... and ready to mingle!

After 3-4 years..............

Gradually I had stopped messaging her. She was just a nobody in my life now. Still i somehow was missing her,
regretting what all i did with her. Should I really love someone again? Am i qualified to love again, after somehow cheating her?
Or did I really love her some 3-4 years ago? Is that what people call as love? If not, then I still don't know what love is.
I already got placed in a very good IT company, which gives me a pretty fair amount of money as my income.
So, I'm almost settled in my life, except that there is no LOVE in my life. Wish I could meet her again.
However she might be to look at, she had really understood me.
Do I still have a chance to correct my mistakes by apologizing to her? Is there a chance for me to hook up with her again?
I should've never judged her by her appearance. The biggest mistake i had ever committed........
Suddenly on 13th feb, I got a message from her, asking me to meet her again in the same spot! Wow!
That was something which really made me happy after a very long time. I even started to dance alone!
God finally listened to me it seems. So, I shouldn't spoil it this time.
Then I prepared a small speech of very deep and touching apologizes.
That too she asked me to meet on the valentine's day this time! Definitely it has got to do something.
May be she came to know that I'm regretting a lot. After all, she was the first gal to have really understood me.
Then I purchased a very romantic card for her and wrote my own little poem for her. May be she'll like it.
Finally I went to my good old college, now full of pretty juniors. But parking lot was empty this time, except for a gal, damn cute.
Have I seen her somewhere before? Seems like a deja vu....! I called her name.
That ugly gal, whom i left was nowhere to be found. This cute gal stood up instead! And she was also having a card in her hand.
The alarm suddenly started ringing deep inside me. My brain started remembering things suddenly.
This gal.... was the one, who was sitting there when I was speaking to the ugly gal. This gal... was the one, who stared at me
sarcastically when i gave a smile to her. This gal.... was the one, who was also in the theater when i went to a movie 3-4 years ago
... She was also there when I had gone out to roam around the city so many times, 3-4 years ago! But i never observed it..
that she was observing me! Before i spoke to the ugly gal... After that incident, I had never seen her. It means....
A big jigsaw puzzle, when put together started to give me the facts that this cute gal was..... the one.....
who was supposed to be my soulmate! She was.. the actual one and that ugly gal was a fake one!
God! What's all this? I can't think about anything anymore. What happened to me?
She was judging me during that time, sitting there, testing whether my love was real.
But I failed in it completely. But right now, what was she doing here with a card in her hand? Do i still have a chance?
I wanted to give the romantic card to her, but no words were coming out of my mouth. I was totally speechless.
She spoke to me for the first time... Just summarized everything in 2 sentences..
"You never understood me. You never knew the meaning of love". May be I saw a small droplet of tear from her eyes,
without realizing a few more drops flowing out of my own eyes! She gave that card to me and left, never turning
around. She can't leave me like this in the middle of everything, while I started to discover the truth just now.
Who knows whats there in her card? May be she wants to surprise me by giving this card and she might be waiting
near the gate for me? A card on the valentine's day means there has to be something!
I opened the card finally.

It was ........ her WEDDING CARD.

When i was young, there were times when. i would close my eyes, take a deep breathe and hold it...
wishing that everything around me would come to a standstill.Wishing I could change some things around me.
I could never hold my breath long enough!

A women was narrating this story--------------

"I was walking around in a Big Bazar store making shopping, when I saw a Cashier talking to a boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The Cashier said, 'I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll. Then the little boy turned to me and asked: ''aunty, are you sure I don't have enough money?''

I counted his cash and replied: ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy the doll, my dear.'' The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. 'It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much . I wanted to Gift her for her BIRTHDAY.

I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.' His eyes were so sad while saying this.'My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister..''

My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: 'I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.' Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me 'I want mommy to take my picture with her so my sister won't forget me.' 'I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.' Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly..

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. 'Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?''

'OK' he said, 'I hope I do have enough.' I added some of my money to his with out him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: 'Thank you God for giving me enough money!'

Then he looked at me and added, 'I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give It to my sister. He heard me!'' 'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. My mommy loves white roses.'

I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.

The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.
